Rough 2011 for Honda - ShakedownOnly time will tell if the numbers can be revitalized once full production picks back up.Mother Nature certainly had her way with our planet in 2011, including a devastating earthquake, followed by a tsunami, and a finger-crossing nuclear meltdown in Japan, as well as massive flooding in Thailand. The result of which has had a major impact on vehicle production for Ford, Toyota, and most importantly, Honda. Production was severely affected for all three powerhouses and will no doubt skew the automakers’ bottom line for the last quarter of 2011 and beginning of 2012. Only time will tell if the numbers can be revitalized once full production picks back up and Honda can again focus on the 2012 Civic Si and newly redesigned CR-V.
