Need tech advice
OK i have a 2000 accord ex 2.3 ulev. The current engine burns oil like crazy and im not going to do a rebuild because i need a new engine asap and dont have the time to rebuild. So I have some questions, I have researching this modle and have found there isnt much of a diffrence between the f23a1 and the f23a. what I want to know is will the f23a1 bolt up to my ulev manule transmission, and i know I will need the pcm from the f23a1 car. the digrams show diffrent sensors in the ulev exhaust then none ulev and there are a few extra connectors for emmisions. now if I was to get an f23a1 engine with the pcm coudnt i drop that in install the pcm and be able to run the f23a1 off of the ulev engine harness with no problems. because the car will read the connectors that are non ulev so the extra connectors for the ulev can just be left alone. So any honda techs out there let me know what my options are for this kinda swap if any thanks.
